A Medical Practice Management Webinar Presented by the
Pennsylvania MGMA, Virginia MGMA, and West Virginia MGM

A high performing Healthcare Call Center / Scheduling Department can be the powerful first impression for patients or it can set the stage for a challenging customer service experience. In this presentation we will examine the key elements that all successful healthcare call centers should have: strong people, outstanding work processes, and best in class technology. We will explore how corporate culture impacts your ability to recruit and retain high performing staff persons. We dig into the best practice processes, workflows and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that separate the best healthcare call centers from those less successful. Tools that managers can use to successfully monitor their team and individual performers to drive the customer service they expect will be explored. Last, we will review those best-in-class Technology issues – hardware and software that are mission critical to practice safety in a healthcare world that demands regulatory compliance, IT safety, environmental redundancy and customer service excellence.   Healthcare practice leadership will gain a new perspective on call center and scheduling best practices and will see firsthand how they can improve any current weaknesses within their own organizations.

    Learning Objectives:

Assess the current success of the practice call center in supporting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and a quality patient experience.

Determine the specific points of quality breakdown in a call center and take corrective action.

Define call center key performance indicators that align with business goals.

A Medical Practice Management Webinar Presented by the Pennsylvania MGMA, Virginia MGMA, and West Virginia MGMA

Healthcare providers experienced some of the hardest impacts during the COVID-19 pandemic, but many of these providers have yet to realize the full potential of the Employee Retention Credit (ERC), a refundable payroll tax credit from the IRS.

With experience advising the country’s top accounting and law firms, EZ-ERC’s experts MaxwelL Burns, CPA and Adam Fischer, Esq., will guide you through the timeline, how to select the right advisor, and the benefits of seeking a second opinion.

Discover the truth behind common misconceptions and gain a comprehensive understanding of how your medical practice may qualify before the program ends in 2025.

    About EZ-ERC

The leadership team at EZ-ERC combines decades of first-in-class tax advisory experience, gained at highly reputable firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, RSM, and Alvarez & Marsal, with legal support from some of the largest, most sophisticated law firms in the world to deliver comprehensive and thoughtful ERC advisory services that are unparalleled in the ERC services industry.

Maxwell Burns is a highly technical CPA with over ten years of public accounting and M&A tax experience. He leads EZ-ERC’s team of tax, payroll, and accounting professionals and supervises the entire ERC accounting process from start to finish.

Along with tenure at KPMG and Alvarez & Marsal, Maxwell previously worked at RSM, a market-leading audit, tax, and consulting firm. In this role, he focused on Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions, Tax Advisory, and Structuring for private equity clients and strategic corporate investors.

Maxwell comes from a family of accountants and is the oldest of four accountant brothers. He received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 2010 and received a Master’s degree in Accounting (Taxation) from Florida State University in 2012. Adam was previously the general counsel for Tricera Capital, a private equity firm in Miami. Prior to holding that position, he worked at McDermott Will & Emery and Greenberg Traurig. In these roles, he focused on advising private equity funds in connection with mergers and acquisitions and real estate developers in connection with their acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
